What's a Turnkey?
A Turnkey is someone who knows just about everything there is to know about what’s going on around campus and in the community. Have a question, need directions, need a study room, need a snack, the Turnkey Desk is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and has operated almost continuously since 1968.
Turnkey Desk Services
The Turnkey Desk also provides access to, and books, the following facilities:

- GO Transit
- Greyhound Bus
- Grand River Transit (GRT) Bus
- Coach Canada
- Princess Cinema
- Cineplex Entertainment: Cineplex Odeon, Galaxy Cinemas & Famous Players
- Empire Theatres
- maps of Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge, as well as Trail maps
- information and schedules for KW transit, bus and train services
- international phone cards & prepaid cellular phone cards
- food, snacks and beverages available for purchase
- squash balls, goggles and swim goggles available for purchase
- Fair Trade coffee and organic tea
- music in the Great Hall: a large music collection on CD & LP for your listening requests
- television in the Great Hall: a large TV screen for your viewing reqeuests
- first aid
- lost and found service
- information rack with current community and university events
- general information on special events and almost anything else of interest to the university community
